Troop Registration Worksheet

Attention Troop Leaders

All Troops need to complete the Troop Registration Worksheet and confirm all your scouts have registered prior to the close of the registration forms.

Current Kindergarten & 1st Grades:
Each troop equals ONE Complete unit. There is no need to subdivide your girls at this time (all scouts/adults can be grouped as Unit A). Must provide 2 unrelated Adults for the first 6 scouts, plus an
additional Adult for every 4 additional scouts (For example: a troop of 12 will need 4 adults each day)

Current 2nd - 5th Grades:
As Required by Council, Troop Leaders must subdivide their troops into Mini Units. Each Mini Unit will consist of not less than 3 or more than 4 Scouts. These mini units will be combined by Camp Staff with other Troop Mini Units to create ONE Mixed Troop Unit. Each mini unit will need one Adult per day to accompany their scouts to assist in maintaining girl
/adult ratio requirements.

Complete this form by March 30th to help ensure we have information for the Teens to start the Camp planning process.

  1.  List everyone - campers and adults in the tables below that will be attending camp.

  2.  Are adult/girl ratios per unit in troop met?

  3.  Ensure all Girls are registered Girl Scouts by registering them online.

General Information

Health and Safety:

All girl scout safety standards are met at camp. A certified first-aider is on duty at all times and arrangements have been made with local emergency services. Complete the registration and health forms with current and accurate information. All medical information will be kept confidential and accessed on a need-to-know basis only. This will help us meet the need of all campers. Parent/Guardian signature is required to give permission for emergency medical treatment.

COVID-19:
While no restrictions or changes are in place currently, the status of guidance or mandates specific to COVID-19 and its impacts on day camp will be continually monitored leading up to camp and all campers and guardians will be notified of any changes via email.

Severe Weather:
Each camp has an action plan to respond to all forms of inclement weather. Please contact your Day Camp Director for specific information.

Transportation:
Busing is required for all camps on a council-owned property. Due to limited parking at council-owned camps, all girls and adult volunteers are required to travel via bus unless given prior approval from the day camp director.

Financial Assistance:
The Opportunity Fund, provides support for individuals with significant financial obstacles that may otherwise prevent them from participating in Girl Scouts. Any registered Girl Scout may apply for funding by submitting an opportunity fund application online at gsksmo.org/oppfund. Questions? Email customercare@gsksmo.org.

Refunds:
Refunds are not made if an individual cancels. If camp is canceled, all fees except Girl Scout membership dues will be refunded.

Camp Clothes:
Camp is an outside activity. Dress your camper in old clothes appropriate for the weather. We recommend hat, bandana, socks and sturdy closed toe shoes. LEAVE FLIP FLOPS AND SANDALS AT HOME.

Equipment & Supplies:

Please bring a backpack to camp each day. It should contain:

  • Sack lunch: this will NOT be refrigerated at camp

  • Insect repellent: apply at home & bring extra

  • Sunscreen: apply at home & bring extra

  • Small reusable water bottle (we will have LOTS of cold water refill stations at throughout camp)

  • A small baggie to hold excess SWAPS so hat/bandana doesn't get too heavy

  • Towel, swimsuit & water shoes on swim days (Adults MAY be able to swim, but are also needed as "watchers." Lifeguards on duty will have the ultimate say in the matter.)

  • A plastic bag to put wet swimsuit in (if able to swim)

  • An extra pair of socks

  • Check the forecast to see if you might need a rain poncho. Please no umbrellas.

Everything you bring to camp should be labeled with your name.
