**Please note - Current Kindergarten - 1st Grade troops will be kept together as one "unit."

**Current 2nd grade and up will be split into "mini units"  of 3-4 scouts by your troop leader to build community within our service unit with other girl scouts in their grade level. This is a requirement from our Council and we are unable to accomodate any special requests to keep a troop together as a whole.

Unit Teens will be reaching out to hold Unit Parties ahead of Day Camp so the units may get to know one another and make SWAPS to exchange with other units. Please be mindful of these three dates in which we will hold the unit parties at the Lenexa VFW. Your unit aide will reach out to see which date works for the majority of the campers.

If you have concerns regarding being able to afford camp this year, please consider applying for Opportunity Fund or contact West is Best Scholarship Fund for potential financial assistance. Financial Assistance may not be guaranteed at the time of registration and if ineligible, an invoice for the remainder will be sent out before camp.

Unit Parties

Prior to Camp: Units gather together to get to know one another and make SWAPS

This year, we will have ALL Unit Parties on one of these four dates (to be determined by the individual unit teens after discussions with the families of their unit availability) at the Carmack Community Room at the Central Resource Library. These unit parties can select a time that works best but will be in the evening from 5-8pm on May 5, May 6, May 14, or May 15.

Please keep these dates in mind to be able to attend the Unit Party prior to camp.
